Bed bugs, also can be spelled as “bedbugs” are brownish red, oval and no wings. Because they
are flat, they can hide in cracks and crevices easily.
The appearance of a bed bugís body is matching to the seed of an apple. Hatchlings are as
small as poppy seeds, while adults will grow up to around 6mm. A common misunderstanding
is that they can’t be seen by the naked eye.
While the newly hatched hatchlings can be difficult
to see, the elder hatchlings and adults are big enough to see obviously. Bed bugs range in color from translucent white when first hatched to dark brown or reddish brown as adults.
Bed bugs redden straight after sucking a person’s blood. Similar to most insects, bed bugs
have six legs, a head, a thorax and an abdomen.
